1. Maximum term: Lay-bys must be paid in full within six weeks of the agreement date. Your final payment date will be recorded on your agreement.
2. Deposit: A minimum deposit of 20% of the total purchase price is required to establish your lay-by.
3. Payments: Instalment amounts and due dates will be agreed and recorded when the lay-by is established. Early payment is welcome.
4. Goods and collection: Your goods and purchase price will be recorded on the agreement. Goods will be reserved and retained by the selling business until payment is received in full.
5. Customer cancellation: You may cancel your lay-by at any time before receiving the goods. A cancellation fee will apply equal to the lesser of:

The fee will be deducted from payments received, with the remaining balance refunded. Any fee will be explained and itemised on request.

• 10% of the total purchase price; or
• our reasonable administration costs actually incurred in connection with your lay-by.
1. Missed payments: Please contact us before a payment is due if you are having difficulty meeting your schedule. If you breach the agreed payment terms, we will contact you and allow seven days to resolve the breach before cancelling the agreement.
2. Business cancellation: We may only cancel where permitted by Australian Consumer Law: if you breach the agreement, we cease trading, or the goods become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel, all payments will be refunded without a cancellation fee.
3. Consumer rights: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
